Hey all.  Okay, so I feel weird and self-conscious promoting this, but not weird and self-conscious enough NOT to do it…  A fan created this petition and told me about it, and I think it’s awesome, even though I know there will be those out there who bash me for it.  As T&S’s shows get bigger and crazier, it gets tougher and tougher to get a good spot to film from, and more and more security guards are trying to make me stop filming.  I start to wonder if I really am getting too old to keep doing all of this (turning 32 next week, jesus christ).  The line to get to the front is getting longer and longer, and I’m starting to rule out shows where logistically I am just not able to wait in line all day.  I don’t mind waiting, but more and more I just CAN’T, especially if I’m traveling long distances to the show or from the show the night before.  Sometimes kind souls let me in line with them, but one of these days, the death glares alone might kill me. 

Additionally, since T&S have started offering VIP tickets that let some people into the venue early, there will soon be a lot of shows where even waiting won’t get me a spot from where I can record without people’s heads in the way.  Since I can’t always afford or get VIP tickets, I don’t know what I’ll be able to do at these shows.  Finally, if T&S make the leap they want to make from playing clubs to playing seated theaters or even arenas (including all these shows where they’ll be opening), I’ll have even less of a chance of being anywhere close to the stage since all of the tickets in the first few rows seem to automatically go to scalpers these days.  Something like this would ensure that, as their shows continue to grow, I’ll still be able to get the best videos possible for you guys.  It will also show security guards that I’m *allowed* to film, since venues are getting stingier and allowing video recording less and less, even if T&S allow it.

I don’t know if T&S (or their management) would go for this, but it’s worth a shot, right?  So put your name on down there if you support it, and writing a bit about why would probably help.  I hear from so many of you about why the videos mean a lot to you (thank you!), but T&S might not know that.

why?

because i became a fan watching their banters and watching their live performances. 

and it made my want of going to their concerts increase dramatically. so, i mean, yea.
